Another CES 2009 Stereoscopic Standout is LightSpeeds, DepthQ HD 3D Stereoscopic Projector (first seen at Siggraph 2008).

Running at 120 fps this new stereoscopic 3D display technology is built for a seriously large 3D gaming experience (2.7m to be precise). Video will be projected in HD using Texas Instruments DLP and BrilliantColor. It is said that this is the fastest projector ever so it should be perfect for high speed gaming and with the DLP technology and a HD resolution, movies should be crisp and colorful.

Chris Ward, President, Lightspeed Design says:

“NVIDIA GeForce graphics processor technology is fundamentally changing the way our customers use their computers. By allowing real-time conversion of existing PC games into stereoscopic 3D and opening up new markets for 3D movies and pictures, GeForce 3D Vision will revolutionize how users interact with visual computing applications and is forming the foundation for a new consumer stereoscopic 3D ecosystem,” said Chris Ward, President, Lightspeed Design, Inc.
