With all the recent media hype surrounding the Blitz games 3D PS3 News. I thought it might be interesting to revisit a story ran earlier in the year about stereoscopic 3D Xbox 360.  James Cameron’s upcoming stereoscopic 3D movie release ‘Avatar’ is set to be released as a Stereoscopic 3D game by Ubisoft (owner of the gaming rights to Avatar).  Not a new story but something some people may have missed. Plus, I thought Xbox 360 owners might be feeling left out with all the 3D PS3 news. Here is an excerpt from an interview with James Cameron published by cnet earlier in the year:

He (James Cameron) noted that Ubisoft, which is making the game version of Avatar, already has a stereoscopic game up and running using a standard Xbox 360 and 3D glasses.

Cameron said that displays for laptops, phones, and Mp3’s can be made stereoscopic even without needing special glasses.
