EET Asia reports that Seiko Epson have developed a 2.57-inch 3D LCD Screen for mobile devices. This tiny screen doesn’t require the use of any glasses! The company says they hope to have these 3D screens in mobile devices within two years.

Many challenges had to be overcome in order to develop this technology for mobile devices as delivering 3D on a small screen creates its own unique set of obstacles. The largest being that dependent on how far you are away from the screen the distance of the two images (giving a left and right eye perspective) has to change.
