While the big news (for some) is Johnny Depps $50 – $75 million paycheck for signing on for the fourth ‘pirates’ installment. The big news for us is that this movie will be in 3D! Thats Disney 3D to be precise. With the quantity of 3D movies being spat out by disney these days, soon a story like this will not be worthy of posting as the majority of movies will be produced in 3D. In fact in Jeffrey Katzenberg (Dreamworks CEO) is right, “all movies will be in 3D”. Unfortunately we can’t quite see that happening somehow and 2D cinema purists will take some time to convince that 2D movies are an endangered species.
