Japanese video game makers KONAMI unveil their Metal Gear Arcade game in Stereoscopic 3D.
Last year at E3, Konami’s Hideo Kojima announced the release of ‘Metal Gear Arcade’, the arcade machine version of the popular ‘Metal Gear’ console game. Now Konami is looking to further cash in on the Metal Gear arcade game by adding stereoscopic 3D and head tracking capabilities.
IGN reports: Konami is highlighting the built-in headset which not only makes use of 3D technology to enable the “Integral Vision” gameplay aspect, but also recognizes head movement of the player so that when you turn your head, Snake will look the same way in the game. For further immersion, Konami has also thrown in a mic for voice chat functionality and giant speakers that completely surround you while playing.
